The aim of Excellence In Public Buildings (EIPB) is to incorporate the best practices in the design and construction of public facilities with the goals of:
- creating buildings the public can be proud of
- building in quality resulting in lower operating costs over longer operational lives
- being sensitive to the context of each project in terms of communities and those who live in them
- being socially and environmentally responsible in siting and design
- establishing a lessons learned data base so improvement is continuous
EIPB is the State's way of doing business in the delivery of new buildings, and has already shown its value in several large scale projects recently begun or completed.
On these pages you'll find the EIPB Guide, featured projects, and other links of interest to anyone participating in the delivery, ownership, or occupancy of public facilities.
