DSA Access Programs

In addition to access compliance services for state-funded construction, the Division of the State Architect's Access Compliance section develops and maintains the accessibility standards and codes used in public and private buildings throughout California. DSA's Access programs and activities include the Certified Access Specialist Program (CASP), the DSA Evaluation of Detectable Warnings Advisory Committee (EDWAC), and development and maintenance of the DSA California Access Compliance Reference Manual.
