We are the Division of the State Architect (DSA), a division of the State of California's Department of General Services.
We are California's policy leader for building design and construction, we:
- Provide design and construction oversight for K-12 schools and community colleges.
- Develop and maintain the accessibility standards and codes employed in public and state leased buildings.
- Incorporate the office of the independent State Historical Building Safety Board, caretaker of California's State Historical Building Code.
